Financial Policy
Our practice provides specialized dental treatment for patients referred to our office. Your dentist has referred you because your case may be more complicated than usual and he or she wants what is best for your dental health. The payment policies of our office may be different than what you have experienced with your dentist.
FEES
Specialist fees are higher than those of a general dentist, due to the expert level of care, post-graduate training and state of the art technology provided in our office. You will be asked to pay the fee at the time of treatment. There is an initial examination fee, after which our fee schedule and your insurance coverage will be explained to you. Payment is due at the time service is rendered. For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit cards, cheques and cash.
INSURANCE PROCESS
If you have dental insurance, our office will assist you in receiving the maximum insurance coverage for your treatment. However, we do not accept payment directly from your insurer. As a courtesy, we submit pre-determinations and claims on your behalf. Your insurer will then refund you directly, usually based on a percentage of the general dentist’s fee for endodontic treatment.
Our dental clinic has decided not to register for the CDCP at this time If you’re eligible for the CDCP, you won’t receive reimbursement for any treatment provided at this clinic. However, we can assure you that we will continue to treat all our patients with the same level of care as we always have. Our primary focus has always been your oral health, and therefore your overall health, and this will never change.
Payment plans are available upon request. When necessary, our receptionist will make appropriate arrangements.
